| Summary |
Tells the story of two battles of WWII by combining the personal remembrances of two soldiers, one from each side of the conflict; skilled, historically accurate narration; and authentic combat footage drawn from one of the world's largest private film archives. They tell of campaigns in Holland and Belgium, both relying on paratroopers to hold besieged towns; one which crushes Allied hopes for a speedy campaign into Germany, and the other crushingly bringing Germany close to military collapse. |
