This exciting sequel to Milo and the magical stones picks up where the happy resolution to that alternate-ending book left off. Winter is over and Milo sets out to explore. He and his fellow cliff mice sail on a homemade raft to an island where strange, striped mice live. Magical stones that give light are in their cargo. When the strangers finally arrive, will the cliff mice be friendly and cooperative, share their treasures, and hope for the best? Or will they be fearful, untrusting, and greedy? Halfway through, the book splits into two sections, each offering a different ending. |
