| Summary |
The purpose of this program is to study the anatomy of this voluntary motor pathway by means of diagrams, specimens of the brain, slides, illustrations and patient demonstration. The emphasis is on tracing the origin and termination of this pathway. The presentation begins by outlining the pyramidal tract on a diagram which shows that the pathway arises from the precentral gyrus, descends through midbrain, pons, medulla, ventral corticospinal tract and terminates at the spinal cord. |
